The Russian government will provide an additional 4.4 billion rubles to Chechnya and Dagestan to address the aftermath of spring floods. The funds will be used for the major repair of damaged homes and the purchase of new housing for families whose homes were deemed uninhabitable.

The Armenian government will allocate 3.14 billion drams (equivalent to approximately $8.1 million) to support companies that have already shipped their products abroad. The funds will go to exporters of greenhouse vegetables, fresh fruit, and flowers, as well as mineral water, wine, and Armenian brandy.

The first shipment of Armenian apricots will arrive in Poland in the coming days. Exports will subsequently expand to other European countries.

In 2025, Grozny ranked fourth among 100 large Russian cities in terms of new housing construction. According to official statistics, the Chechen capital had 1,773 square meters of new housing per capita. This is the best result among all regions of the North Caucasus.

According to a RIA Novosti study, Ingushetia ranked 85th, the last, in the list of Russian regions based on income levels for 2025. The assessment was based on the remaining funds of two-earner households with the regional median salary after deducting essential expenses.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced at a briefing that the poverty rate in the country had decreased to 7.1% in 2025, lifting approximately 90,000 citizens out of poverty. He attributed this progress to improved economic indicators.
