The Southern District Military Court sentenced Roman Gakaev to 20 years in a strict regime colony (together with the verdict of the Supreme Court of Chechnya).

On July 4, the Akhmatovsky District Court of Grozny will pass judgment on Zarema Musayeva. Earlier, the prosecutor's office asked to sentence the woman to 5.5 years in prison.

The Supreme Court of Russia has resumed the investigation into the case of Suleyman Edigov, a native of Chechnya. Previously, he was tortured by the security forces and was sentenced to 14 years for assault on the life of a police officer and arms trafficking.

Baku has considered a petition from the investigation to extend the term of imprisonment of public activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev in connection with new charges brought against him.

A cassation was sent to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in the case of a native of Ingushetia, Abo Dobriev, who was sentenced to life in 2021. The defense claims that the accusation is based on the testimony of a witness who slandered the man and is not supported by other evidence.
