On April 7, 23-year-old Yuri T., wanted by Moscow law enforcement agencies on charges of desertion, was detained and taken to the police station in Yerevan. As a preventive measure in Armenia, military surveillance was chosen for him; the prosecutor's office and the initiators of the search were informed about the discovery of the wanted man.

France investigates forced deportation of Chechen refugee to Russia

Following a complaint by the Human Rights League and the relatives of the victim, the court initiated proceedings regarding the illegal expulsion of the Chechen refugee Magomed Gadaev from France to the Russian Federation. The defendants are the head of the French Ministry of Internal Affairs and a number of officials. 
According to the complainants, such deportations were contrary to international law and resulted in three convictions by the ECtHR in 2022.

The 21-year-old Amir Boko, along with his uncle, came to the Internal Affairs Department of Malgobek and confessed. He is suspected of assaulting security officers. His comrades are most likely hiding in the forests on the outskirts of the Malgobey district. Mikail Moshkhoev, Amirhan Guragev and Adam Ozdoev are wanted.

The number of unauthorized landfills in 2022 increased significantly in the Stavropol Territory - from 94 to 205. In Dagestan, the rate increased from 98 to 112, in North Ossetia from 63 to 86, in Karachay-Cherkessia from 46 to 67, in Kabardino-Balkaria from 4 to 19. This is reported by the Russian Federal Nature Inspectorate.

Raul Arashukov, a former high-ranking employee of «Gazprom» sentenced to life imprisonment, complained about the impossibility to perform prayer prayers at night in the Moscow remand centre "Lefortovo". His son, ex-senator from Karachaevo-Cherkessia Rauf Arashukov, received a similar sentence. 
Lawyer Ekaterina Malinovskaya explained that according to the rules of the institution at night it is impossible to get out of bed. At the same time, Muslims now have a fast Ramadan during which they are allowed to drink and eat only until the first and after the last prayer.

The Council of Europe published a 2022 report on the implementation of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Azerbaijan had 285 pending cases, compared with 235 in 2020. The remaining ones include materials against prominent activists: Anar Mamedli, Intigam Aliyev, Khadija Ismailova, Leyla Yunus, Arif Yunus, Ghiyas Ibrahimov and Bayram Mammadov. The Azerbaijani authorities have not yet overturned their sentences or acquitted the complainants.
Seven cases related to violations of freedom of expression, three to the lack of effective investigation of death or ill-treatment, two to violations of freedom of assembly and association and one to arbitrary expulsion.

Full payment of fair compensation awarded by the ECHR in 2022 was made by the Azerbaijani authorities in 38 cases. Applicants in 45 cases are expected to pay in full, although the deadline set by the court has expired.

Ament Suleimanov, a civilian journalist from Crimea sentenced to 12 years of age, was taken into custody after house arrest. Because of many diseases, the presence of the Crimean Tatar in the colony threatens him with death.
