The prosecutor's office of Dagestan reported the initiation of a criminal case against the rector of the Republican State Agrarian University (DSAU) Zaidin Dzhambulatov. He is accused of misappropriation of funds (Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code) received from the lease of sports facilities owned by the university.

In total, 450 people sought medical treatment as a result of the outbreak of acute intestinal infection that affected five villages of the municipality.
